I went to cosmetology school in Columbia at Tennessee Career Inst. and graduated in 2014. I have been doing hair for 10 years.
I moved to Murfreesboro and started working at one of the best barbershops in the boro. I worked at Nexgen Barbershop for 2 years.
I moved back to Colombia because my parents live here. I'm a single mother of a beautiful daughter and a smart crazy little boy.
I specialize in Men’s Haircuts, Hot Towel Shaves and Beards. I also specialize in Women’s Haircuts, both straight and curly, as well as color!
I love working at Daniel's Barbershop. I have learned a lot and I am continuing to learn more! It is a real treat getting to learn from a Master Barber!
Daniel’s Barbershop is a place to come and relax. The atmosphere here is amazing and so are the people I work for and with. I hopefully plan to be here for the rest of my hair career!

1992 - Opened my 1st Barber Shop in Pinellas Park Fl
2005- Moved with my family to Columbia TN
June 1 2009 - Opened Daniel's Barber Shop on the Square in downtown Columbia TN.
I am the proprietor of Daniel's Barber Shop on the Square in beautiful downtown Colombia, TN. With my wife, Rena Hartsfield, we raised our family of 9 children, first in Florida then in Columbia, TN. We currently have 10 grand children
I am a Master Barber by trade, specializing in Men's Cuts & Services: Clipper cuts, Fades, Flat Tops etc- as well as Scissor Styles, Beard Work, Straight Razor Shaves and so on. I've been blessed in life as I have a great family and I love what I do and where I do it. I also want to acknowledge that I have the best clientele a Barber could ask for. Thank you for making my dream happen!

I started my hospitality journey in 1996 as a food runner and worked my way up to managing restaurants. I knew I wanted to do something different and so my hairstylist talked me into doing hair!
I went to school in 2005 at Paul Mitchell and then worked at a salon in Franklin, TN. That salon was owned by a Vidal Sassoon trained stylist.
Men’s Grooming and Pixies became my specialty.
I then got to travel the country with Sam Villa (multi-awarded international hairstylist) and teach cutting techniques. After all these years of moving around and learning a ton, I found myself here in Columbia with an amazing barber, Daniel!
